Clinical Supervision for LPC Associates in Texas

Congratulations on completing graduate school! You're now ready to take the next step toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.

My Counseling Pro is proud to offer clinical supervision to LPC Associates pursuing licensure. Our Board-approved supervisors are experienced professionals committed to supporting new counselors in building a strong, ethical, and confident clinical foundation.

Supervision Options

We offer two flexible supervision pathways:

1. Join Our Counseling Practice

LPC Associates may apply to join My Counseling Pro as independent contractors. Those accepted into the practice receive clinical supervision as part of their role, along with access to clients, professional support, and the infrastructure needed to build a successful practice.

2. External Supervision

For LPC Associates working outside our practice, we offer external supervision for a monthly fee of $450. This includes:

• Weekly 1-hour virtual supervision sessions
  
  

• Access to your supervisor via phone and email for additional support
  
  

• Case consultation, documentation guidance, and ethical decision-making
  
  

• Assistance with professional identity development and private practice setup
  
  

About Our Supervisors

Our Board-approved supervisors bring extensive experience across a variety of clinical settings, including:

• Inpatient psychiatric hospitals
  
  

• Community behavioral health
  
  

• Private practice
  
  

We work with a wide range of clinical issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, trauma, co-occurring substance use, and more. Many of our supervisors also have expertise in working with LGBTQ+ clients and underserved populations.

Supervision Structure

• Minimum of 18 months or as required by licensure
  
  

• Weekly supervision tailored to your needs and growth areas
  
  

• Emphasis on real-world application, ethical practice, and professional development
  
  

To Begin Supervision (not required for consultation):

• Resume or CV
  
  

• Passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE)
  
  

• Jurisprudence Exam certificate
  
  

• Completed Supervisory Agreement form (to be submitted to the Texas Board)
  
  

• LPC Associate license
  
  

• Proof of liability insurance (face sheet only)
  
  

What We Expect from LPC Associates

• Attend supervision weekly and come prepared with clinical cases
  
  

• Complete documentation within 24 hours of client sessions
  
  

• Remain up to date on Texas LPC Board and ACA ethical standards
  
  

• Maintain professional liability insurance throughout supervision
  
  

• Approach supervision with curiosity, professionalism, and a willingness to grow
